Programme: Film Internship

I’m most looking forward to experiencing a different culture. When I studied in New York it was amazing to see how the culture there differs entirely from home, and the chance to experience other cultures is of great interest to me.

I hope to learn more about the filmmaking process and hopefully provide new knowledge to others that I work with. Building new relationships during my time on the internship would be really fulfilling and I hope to meet people that I can stay in contact with.

With an already quite varied CV this internship will add an extra depth, showing that I am outgoing, hardworking and just enjoy what I do. The fact it’s in a different country I believe will show that I always look for new, exciting experiences and enjoy to do something different.

I am travelling to Australia because I think the country looks amazing and I have heard that the working culture is very different to that of both England and America. It is not just the company I work at that matters but also the environment in which I spend my off time. I hope to travel after the internship and there are a number of places in Australia that I’d love to visit.

I think my friends will be very jealous but probably expect something like this from me after I went to New York to study for 2 months. A few have said they will come and visit me during my time in Australia and it would be great to introduce them to the new friends I hope to make there.

I think getting as much varied experience, in as many cultures as possible is a great way to develop personally and professionally and I hope that my time in Australia provides memories as good as those I have from New York.
