Megan applied from the US for a summer 2010 internship in Finance. She applied with her friend Molly who will be place at the same time into Sydney and in the same accommodation. Molly will be undertaking a 10 week HR Internship over the US summer break.

Megan and Molly are both having their phone interviews this week with Sydney companies they will be carrying out their summer internship in. We wish both Megan and Molly the best for their phone interviews and we’re sure they will be successful.

Below are some of Megan’s comments on why she chose Australia and what she’s looking forward to:

In Australia, I am most looking for the experience. I want to get a grasp on what it is like in the business world of a different country, other than America. I want to get to know how the people live, and the culture behind it.

I want to learn all about the company I am working with, and how international business is formed. I think having an internship in a different country will make my resume that much stronger, and I will stick out more than the rest.

I have chosen Australia to do an internship in because I have already been in ten countries in Europe, and also, since Australia is an English speaking country, I figured that that I would get more out of it since I do not speak any other language.

My friends are beyond jealous, because I’m finally living my dream of traveling everywhere I want to go, and I’m not letting anything, or anyone hold me back.
