This is the shortest internship that we have ever done, as we usually place interns into internships for 10 weeks or longer. Primary school teaching is the only subject area that we can place into shorter internships.

Amy will be starting at a very good primary school in Sydney on the 1st of February. This is the start of the first term in Australia. For more information on the Australian term dates please see the Teaching Internships page for more details.

We had planned a longer teaching internship for Amy but unfortunately university calls and she will need to be back for classes in February.

At the moment we are working through accommodation options in Sydney for Amy and her working holiday visa application. After this it is just booking her flight and insurance and then jumping on a plane to Sydney. From there Amy will be supported by our Sydney office for anything she needs.

I’m sure that Amy will be very busy when she is in Sydney but hopefully will have time to let us know how she is going with her placement in the New Year.
